This is our first executive board meeting of 2024. I hope you all had a happy and restful holiday. I would like to welcome our new committee members:

• Maritza Kerr
• Cinthia Silva
• Audrey Bartley

Ideally this meeting should focus on planning the agenda for January general meeting, outlining our events and workshops for the remainder of the school year, and finalizing a system for collecting dues. 

Our 9th grade assistant principle Ms. Locke will be a part of this meeting.

Mr. Kissoon & Ms. Stephens please create space on the agenda to discuss:

• How and when we will collect dues
• Which workshops we will hold for the next 5 general meeting (May is "The Rising Star Awards" / Elections so no workshop is needed for the Month of May)
• Fundraising event for rising stars award ceremony 
• Selecting a date and time in February for the "Breakfast with the Principal" event.

** We have interpretation available for Ms. Silva at this meeting, so please be aware there will be a dial in interpreter from Language Line Solutions in the meeeting with us.

Esta es nuestra primera reunión de la junta ejecutiva de 2024. Espero que todos hayan tenido unas felices y relajantes vacaciones. Me gustaría dar la bienvenida a nuestros nuevos miembros del comité:

• Audrey Bartley

Idealmente, esta reunión debería centrarse en planificar la agenda para la reunión general de enero, delinear nuestros eventos y talleres para el resto del año escolar y finalizar un sistema para cobrar las cuotas.

Nuestra subdirectora de noveno grado, la Sra. Locke, será parte de esta reunión.

Sr. Kissoon y Sra. Stephens, creen un espacio en la agenda para discutir:

• Cómo y cuándo recaudaremos las cuotas
• Qué talleres realizaremos para la próxima quinta reunión general (mayo es "The Rising Star Awards" / Elecciones, por lo que no se necesita ningún taller para el mes de mayo)
• Evento de recaudación de fondos para la ceremonia de premiación de las estrellas en ascenso

Seleccionar fecha y hora en febrero para el evento "Desayuno con el Director".
